The Course:
The course route will be identical as last year.
It is a challenging 7 mile loop complete with rocks, mud, short rolling
hills, waterfall, etc.
You will have 1/4 mile of asphalt and 1/8 mile of open field before
entering the trailhead.
The course is extremely well marked making it next to impossible
to get lost.
Average Temp: low 35 - high 55
There is a playground for the kids located close to the start/finish
line.

Premiums: 
Every participant will receive a pre-washed cotton, embroidered, RAR logo cap - NICE! Starbucks - provided by Starbucks Burlington - before the race and homemade soup (3 choices) after the race. Porta-Potties are OUT, mobile comfort stations are IN.
Packet P/U:
Race numbers, ChampionChips, Caps, and packets
available on Friday December 5th at Omega Sports 1451-D University
Dr. Burlington, NC 27215 from 3-8 PM. Please bring a photo ID to claim your goodies. Check your packet to see if you are one of the 25 Door Prize Winners - Claim at the truck on race day.
Packet Pick Up Directions:
From I-85/40 take exit # 140 and go north ¼ mile, turn
left in to the shopping center. Omega sports is located on the right
side close to Old Navy.
Packets will also be available on race day,
at Cedarock Park starting at 7:00 AM. Please come early and allow
ample time to get to the starting line. The cannon fires at 9:00
AM sharp.
Aid Stations:
1.5, 4 and 6 mile marks. Loop course.

Pottery - from The Mad Platter, Burlington - 3 Deep.

Male/Female
Masters
Grandmasters
Top 3 each age group, Male/Female: 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, etc…
Total: 133 awards.
Post race refreshments and door prizes under the tent.

14 mile awards 11:45 AM
Fees:
7 mile or 14 mile: $35 before November 15th
and $45 after November 15th. Please, no changes on your choice of
distance. No refunds.
Registration will close when we reach 750 entrants or November
28th, whichever comes first.
Proceeds benefit Alamance County Recreation & Parks.
Rules/Trail Etiquette
Absolutely no exchanging of bib numbers. Registered runners only.
Numbers must be
worn on the front and visible at all times. You must yield to any
runner who announces
his/her intention to pass. When passing another runner say “Passing
on your right”
(or left) when there is room to safely pass.
